From the countries inception it has been this way. This is a problem that will not see a resolution in our lifetime and you can count on that.

first of all, i doubt any of us have read the law. so its safe to say that all of these opinions are based on what we have seen and heard on the news.so let me give my uneducated opinion. we have all been profiled for ever evertime you buy alcohal you are asked to see your id based one how old you look. its the law! this might not be the perfict answer but its a step in the right direction. illegal is illegal

this law looks really sketchy to me. What "REASON" is there to suspect someone is illegal. not knowing how to speak english?? being a certain color?? driving a lowrider??i really would like to know how they are going to be enforcing this law. i know i would be Piiiissed if i got pulled over because i sopposedly look illegal. only think illegal the cop would get from me is a big ass middle finger in his face. I do agree that we should be cracking down on immigrants coming thru illegally and drug cartels, but not from this approach. - thats my opinion

patronage in a store is not a good correlation to a law of this nature. Like I said earlier, I like the step they took. But I think it is too aggressive and Arizona as a state will pay for this one. And all in all this sets the country back quite a few years in principle. I doubt they retrain their officers. So there will be gross negligence all up and down this one. I can see the lawsuits stackin up quite easily. Arizona is already a arm pit, this will take it to asshole status.

I'd rather get pulled over a few times and get checked out if it means we will have less people driving around with no Green Cards, no insurance, and no reason to stick around if they break any laws. How many people jump across the boarders after they do dirt? How many people transport drugs across the boarder?
IMO I think it's a step in the right direction as far as protecting our boarders..... Next we need to build a real wall on the boarder and have guards watching it. Go to another country and see what you have to go through to to get in.

I heard arizona has some fucked up jails for aliens...I heard they stick them in jails in the middle of nowhere and make them sleep on dirt and all types of cruel stuff, like animals ..from what I heard that's where they send them before the deport them...in my opinion arrest the ones that are breaking laws ,like stealing,drunk driving ,wife beating,and creating gangs that don't belong here ...I mean damn ...we can do with out the crimes and who really likes the color blue anyways....haha..na but for realz that's fucked up

Are we in the 21st century? Or are we still stuck in the Jim crow era? People don't understand that this law is not going to affect "mexicans" Latinos, but anyone no matter if u look white. Their are hundreds of cases every year where people get arrested by immigration officers for Not having there papers in hand eventhough there legal here. And even cases of people that have been deported and there citizens here without comitting a crime. And all they get is an I'm sorry from the government. I just feel that this law is going to bring a lot of law suits and that's is why even police officers from Arizona don't agree with this. And for the last time legal or not we all pay taxes. And Latinos are not the only immigrants here we all are.
