Sealed the deal on the Windsor today, woohoo! Can't wait till the deal is done and I order my 408. I still need to pull the motor for the new owner and time is not of the essence lately. Too many customer cars to get finished!

It's ok thanks it was nice putting a face to the screen name and it was nice talking to you! You have a beautiful car and love that boss 302 motor on the engine stand, we had a great time are crew walked away with two trophies so that's not bad at all. Got a few more things done on the back of the car. Emblems are on, tinted the rear glass and set it on. We will be finishing the installation of the windows tomorrow and installing the polished stainless window trim.

When is this thing going to be done?! I was thinking of converting my motor over to BOSS 429 heads but in the long run it would cost me too much since i have custom headers made specificly for this car and the heads on it.

hmmmm, My engine builder has a deal on a set of +.060 Ross coated-skirt forged pistons for a 418 (424 actually). I'm all about building what ya got when you're on a budget, so it looks like I'm actually going with a 424 stroker. Since you can go +.100 on a Windsor bore I'm not against the idea of the bigger bore. More cubes is always a good thing, too. [ June 03, 2011, 04:31 PM: Message edited by: bwkelley76 ]
