Just want to throw this out there, we alread know how clutch Bowman was right there... But how about Brock being ON that quick slant and denying that completion, allowing bowman to do what he did. What a play.

I don't normally quote somebody but your examples here are incorrect that I just have to point them out. Neither of the examples led to Super Bowl appearances for the Niners. The Catch you are referring to was in the 1998 Divisional Wild Card playoff game with the Green Bay Packers. Yes, the catch by Terrell Owens should have never happened because Jerry Rice did fumble the ball a few plays earlier as replays showed. The botched field goal attempt by The Giants was a 2003 Divisional Wild Card playoff game and, yes, the officials blew that call. However, as I stated, neither win led to Super Bowl appearances. The Niners already had 5 Lombardis by then ('81, '84, '88, '89, '94).
Yes, freak plays happen but they happen because players make them happen. That "freak" play would not have happened if Eric Reid was not in the face of Matt Ryan forcing him to throw the ball earlier than he wanted. That "freak" play would not have happened if Tramaine Brock does not jump that route and pops the ball up. That "freak" play would not have happened if Navarro Bowman did not rally to where the ball was and make the interception. I guess you could call every play in
football a "freak" play.

I'm neither a 9ers fan nor seacocks fan, I'll tell you this though it will be a great game to watch if they play each other in the playoffs...On a side note that was a bad ass play on Brock. Bowman is getting all the credit but that was all 26. As for the rest of the NFL bad penalties especially the illegal hits getting called all over the league needs a reassessment. That shit is ruining football period. Hitmans hit was legit and i agree a bad ass ronnie lott rating hit.....NFL is the next boxing in the making because all the pussy shit they are doing. Dont want to get hit, dont play period.....They make multi millions for a reason..
-want to add as well that gay call on your team when brooks popped breezy ho should have won you the game, so technically you guys should be in first for the division since the cocks lost to a division rival..So yes those gay illegal hit calls are ruining the league once again and your chance to win the title and most importanly home field..

About that thread I made. When I looked at the date I had to laugh. The 49ers were on their way to starting out the season 0-5. Who wasn't upset that a team who looked pretty solid in pre season going 4-0, finds ways to blow games left and right? Singletary wasn't ready or shouldn't have been picked as a head coach. Great defensive guy, but made way too many coaching mistakes.( I've even compared Singletary to Obama. All Talk.) So at the time I wrote that thread I WAS about done with Smith. It was obviously an knee jerk reaction to how bad the team as a whole was playing. So go ahead and call me a bandwagon fan all you want. Everyone of my close friends knows I'm not really like that. I even had a Kaepernick faithful give me a 49ers Alex Smith Jersey for Christmas this year LOL.

Lol you act like Smith is the reason things turned around. But really, things turning around is what made Smith turn around. You are just mad he lost how job to injury. Well, too bad. Look at the bears. McCown should never have stopped playing. Cutler isn't doing nearly as well as McCown and it may cost them now.
