So I see all these cobras putting down high numbers but not pulling the time to back it up. What time's you think this one will be pulling? Or what you shooting for?

With the power level it should be at I should see mid-low 10's on slicks, mid-high 10's on DR's. One of the guys on SVTP went 9.80's power shifting on the stock 6 speed and stock half shafts in the IRS on slicks. His car made 725rw and he has a shit ton of seat time. I ran 12.0 my first time out on drag radials with 477rwhp. With my aluminum block and 200 possible extra at the wheel I should be able to drop a full second without "too much" trouble.
The more interesting question is at what point I'm going to max out my current fuel setup. Should find that out in a few days

Lol too late.. Stock rails, lines, I would say 650 on pump is gonna be tough! I really don't see it happening on pump gas.. Race gas, ya I can see it!! But you want your car to be a nice driver, you ain't gonna want to be buying race gas all the time! If it was just your track car then ya! That's why I'm switching to E85, so I can cruise my car and make great power!!

Thanks bro. How is your build coming along with that new Boss block setup?
Vndcatr & Turbo50. Yeah fellas it will be a nice car to showcase how clean their work is. Also want to get me a fesh little build link on their new web page (which is nice by the way) Need to get all the final toucjes done then try to get it on Canibeat, Speedhunters, or Motor Mavens.
AED HP
Its going good. Just waiting for the new dowles for the block and its ready to go in.

650 should be easy. SSSIKH's car already put down 650 without ported heads, stock cams, stock rails, and smaller injectors on pump gas. E85 is a swap I will prepare for later, but I'm curious what the pricing will be when the federal subsidy on it ends. I know Matt and Jason's cars should be putting up big numbers soon on corn oil.

I am sure it will always be cheaper, per gallon, than 110, 114 etc etc.
Im not lookin into it from a cost perspective but rather a performance perspective.

Very true. It will always be cheaper and from the regional maps I've checked its becoming more readily available too. I'm stuck between the cost to make the switch and the amount of time id benefit from the added power. I would love to have the power on tap always, but for the chance of being too far from a station to refuel and the frequency id actually get to use all that power on the street I still debate with. What would be nice is to have a tune for 91 and E85 with a fuel analyzer in the tank. This way I know what I have in it on the street to protect the motor, and could change to E85 at the track instead of having to buy race gas.
I'm in need of a proper fuel system so when I do upgrade I will be sure to buy the lines that can handle E85. I saw that gigantic pump Jason got and got an erection. Lol. Can't wait to see what that thing puts down as the wastegate flutters..

It really don't cost anymore for the fuel system upgrade! Just get the KMS fuel hat(369.99 now or 399.99 when they release them) 2 aeromotive stealth pumps(169.99 x2) get fragola fittings and lines and any FPR you choose(125.99+).. Oh and get the divisionX black rails(price? Black ones are safe with E85) and bigger injectors! Sell your old parts to help fund..
I sold my 60lb injectors for $300, kb bap for 200 and still cab get 150+ for my stick hat n pumps.. So the extra $$ pays for most of it. If u were not so worried about going up a inch in brakes you could have your fuel system! I personally think my cobra brakes stop just fine!! Rather use my money to go faster!

definitely isn't cheap to go E85..
I'm in for over $1200 for just 83lb. injectors, Magnafuel 4303 fuel pump and Slot style MAF...and that's not including lines, rails, and filter which were already in my system....
