LOL yeah my dad was granny shifting it, he knows he wanted to get a feel for the car better since we've never been able to really finish a run without blowing a hose or breaking something.
He didn't get a chance to even use the line lock off and rev limiter off the line last night.
The first run he wanted to test the brakes and still broke into the 11s ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Nice to hear that the car is out at the track again. What kind of numbers is the motor putting down to the rubber. I am sure you guys got more then the 11.66 in it. Shoot my little 331 did that with DR's. Yeah tell your dad to put some more practice in that shifting too!

Its untuned with the D1 ![[Eek!]](eek.gif) so we don't know how much its putting down to the ground.
It was so hot in SAC so i am sure its got a lot more in it if it was 30 degrees cooler.

we had the A/F ratio done on it about 2-3 years ago with the old blower.
We have the F.A.S.T. 2 system for it, we just haven't installed it yet.

Its a SHM motor with a D1SC Procharger, complete drag setup, not for street use

Dana, I'm SHOCKED! For the money, boost, time you guys have into that Cobra and are only running high 11's, HELL LOW 11'S WOULD SHOCK ME! I expected 10 more MPH with the money you guys have put into that thing
Also, I'm shocked that you'd run that thing without spending the final grand or so to get it tuned properly. A LOT OF MONEY on the line!

I don't get it. Why is a drag only mustang with a built motor and SC only running 11s/12s and at only 1 teen mph? Do you really think that car will beat the fast street hondas??? If so you're in for a rude awakening!!!

I love the support we have for fellow CA Ford members here LOL. I can feel the love. Give them time. Judging buy the nice place his parents live in his dad could probably go out and buy a turn key 8 sec ride. Give them a little props for at least trying to dial it in themselves
