Since the 2 cars were so close ET/MPH, we wanted to get the raceweight of each....but the scales were locked up. From previous weighing of the wifes car & current mods I'd guess raceweight is around 3200lbs w/driver.

Evan, what does that car weigh? Where does it want to shift? Was it ever put on a chasis dyno? What did it make and where did it peak. That's packin some serious heat for some 165's
and the rest about the cam are secrets that i cant give out because i dont even know them lol. some things about this motor my boss just doesn't want to give out. but we can build this exact motor for anyone interested.
the car i would imagine it to be around 3100-3200 maybe with me in it. thats just a guess though maybe more maybe less. its got the full dash/center console, all panels power windows/locks, and i little 6 point roll bar. no rear seat and two bucket seats up front and what CDT listed above. it still has the stock k member and front suspension, subframes, safety loop and the other stuff that CDT mentioned. oh there is no power steering or ac unit. its just one bad motherfucker.
Yes the car was put on our chassis dyno we have an 1100hp 200mph mustang dyno to go along with the FULL machine shop. all we did was play with the carb, we never played with the timing at all. this car WILL go faster. it made 381 at the wheels almost over heating after we did 4-5 nitrous pulls. NO we have not ran the car on the bottle at the track YET.
i shift at around 6800. where it made peak i'm not too sure, i'll have to get the dyno sheet. i'll let you all know by tomorrow night. [ November 13, 2005, 02:06 PM: Message edited by: stoauto ]

Nice ET's guys!
The motor build up and engine dyno article is here:
http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2005/05/DynoDuel/
I'm sure you guys are making better/broader torque with the dual plane intake now.
The cam is a mechanical roller 238/246 .560"/.579" 110LSA.
I gotta say though, IF the car weighs 3200lbs, and you dynoed at 380 rear wheel hp... that doesn't ad up to 10.9/124. I'd suspect the race weight to be more like 2800. But I've never see the car... You sure you aint sprayin' about a 75 shot

Mustang dyno's usually dyno lower...FWIW It would prolly be well over 400rw on a dyno jet.
BTW, awesome times....
