C6Z06 has supercar performance. Mustang isnt even in the same category with the cars C6Z06 competes with. Even a C5Z06 mops the floor with most Mustangs out there.
I'll still take my '13 GT500 over ANY Corvette. I'll shit on ZO6's.
Maybe from a 40 roll, youll pull a car on a stock Z06 with your GT500 with almost 200 more HP but from a dig and on a track, good luck.

Not yet but I'm about to have some, my friend just got a C6 Z. My 500 is a factory low 11 second car on stock tires, I'd say that would shit on some ZO6's.

I wonder what the value of your vette is in pieces, $12K seems cheap to buy if I can get $20K in pieces, I might look into that, my 95GT should get $12K plus in pieces and it would have walked over this vette but I would have to worry about the stock block breaking since it was making over 500hp, but I have seen stock LSXs block break also with less HP.

I'm not saying its impossible for a fox to beat a vette but for the average H/C/I fox out there they just won't. There is always someone that is faster so I personally could care less. Anyone could strip a fox down and beat a vette. I'm older now and want a car with more then one purpose.

At the end of the day, A vette is a vette and a fox body is an old 80s outdated car.
You can have a nice house in the ghetto that can look better than a house in an upper class area, but at the end of the day, you have a house in the ghetto.

I agree, takes some time and money to make a fox a nice daily driver, I have a 94GT that is very nice and comfortable to drive for daily use and since it's uglier than a fox and it's not as popular as a fox, getting stolen isn't as much as a worry,

I know a guy that's building a SN right now that's getting a boosted 5.4........ It won't have a problem putting bus lengths on these z 06's........ His HCI stock block turbo foxbody walked a lot of Vettes for a lot less money too.

Until your friend and the vette hit some turns. I've raced a few C5Z06s at the road course. In bone stock trim they are very fast. It takes a heavily modified 79-04 mustang to keep up with them.
