Unless you're trying to go fo xxxx rwhp. The SHP block is all you need. The 700 hp rating has been confirmed to be very conservative.
I want at least 700 to the wheels. Is it cheaper having these local shops build it or order it off one of these engine builders online? I kinda blew my motor I have now so I kinda wanna start looking more into building this thing foreals. [ 2021-09-09, 11:14 AM: Message edited by: NEIGHT ]

Those SHP short blocks seem to be a good deal. I know the YouTube channel Richard Holder has used both the 363 & 427 short blocks and made over 1000 with both. If I had the cash. I'd go SHP route. But I'm working on a budget 351w right now for the fastback.

After looking into this more and more. I see a lot of people make 4 digits on the shp blocks which is almost $1000 cheaper. It’ll be cheaper for me to go the 363 route because I can use everything I have right now minus the cam. One of these days I might just pull the trigger.

Hi Y'all!! I'm still around with my 93! Haven't been checking in too much lately, bought a bass boat and been enjoying a LOT of fishing.
Neight, where is Summit Racing? Sounds like a cool visit!

Summit racing is up in Sparks, Nevada the town over from Reno. Yesterday I found out my motor is still good on my hatch. It went super lean on me and backfired like no tomorrow after I did a hard pull against a coyote on the freeway. I’m planning on going back to summit racing again soon to pick up a TKX transmission. I didn’t do it last week because I thought my motor might of been bad.

Anyone run a Holley terminator setup? I’m getting a” hi temp” alarm instantly even as a cold start. Does this mean my sensor went out? Last time it read my temp on my Holley screen was before I went hella lean making a pull.

Shoot I don't even know what made me think about this site, I haven't owned a Ford in 15 years. Lots of screen names familiar. What a trip.

There’s nothing more annoying than people who don’t stop bugging you to sell your car to them when you already told them no. I don’t even care to ask how much they offer because I know it’s not that high or else they’d be quick to say it.
