Alex Smith shouldn't have come back this year. He doesn't deserve this kind of treatment after playing as well as he did last year.
I hope he decides to finally leave the 49ers for good. It would be funny if he ended up on an AFC team or a divisional team..... Like Arizona.

kap is good but smith is reliable to an extent, i think we give kap a try see if he hangs himself,meanwhile hopefully smith stays ready and hungry for his job

Watched the interview today gotta say man I don't care for Harbaugh just looked like a dick during the press conference. I'm not a Niner fan and definitely don't care about Smith but he went out because of a concussion not like he was playing poorly.

Smith will play again this year, Harbaughs saving him for the post season. If and when Kaep starts fucking up back Smith goes. Gutsy move by Harbaugh, he's been a winning coach and people forget how bad we were before him. Go Niners!

9ers deserve that..messing around, terrible play calling at the end with missed game winning field goal with unstable akers. run run try and kick 53 yard field goal? this is on the coaches not all on kap especially with the stupid toss play to ginn......keep calling plays like this they will beat themselves out of the playoffs...

Karma is a bitch....... That rookie mistake giving up a safety cost them the game. You have to put some blame on him for NOT getting the ball past the line.
As the the Raider fan above I wouldnt talk too much shit. I think the smith brother have more sacks between the two of them then the whole Raiders team. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

I have a few questions I'd like to ask my fellow 49er fans
1. How many mistakes/losses will it take before Harbaugh makes a QB change?
2. Do you think York/front office might have had a hand in wanting to start Kap over Smith ?
3. Do you think Alex Smith will play again this season?
4. Do you think if Alex Smith wouldn't have gotten hurt he would have played as the starter?
5. If the 49ers don't make the playoffs this year, what's going to change in the off season?
Just want to see what you guys think is going to happen when all of the information comes out about who,what,how & why Harbaugh did make a change at QB.
It going to make for quite an interesting story when it all comes out..... They might even do a special on the NFL channel about it.
