been wirh sprint for 9 years and never had any issues. we might have shitty phones, but not shitty service. my wife loves her palm pre and i have no problems running my blackberry.
EDIT: my MMS works all day..........enjoy the "(I)dropcallslikeitsnotomorrow(PHONE)"

That's funny, my iPhone doesn't have any issues dropping calls at all. Sprint/Nextel is about out of business too, just saw yesterday that they are almost bankrupt.

MMS for iPhone 3G/3GS on AT&T network works already. All you need to do is update the att ipcc package through iTunes and enable MMS in settings.

FYI- for those that think the Iphone will be on Verizon by Thanksgiving, well they are wrong. I have Verizon and would jump all over that. I read that AT&T have "an exclusivity agreement" that doesn't end until next year. I also read that the government is trying to break that agreement stating that it is a form of a monopoly. I did read that Apple will make something else for Verizon in the near future though. This info that I read was from July so I hope somebody can prove me wrong. I want an Iphone on Verizon. I Love that I have service in the hills when I am riding my bike while my brother in laws Iphone has zero bars.

I don't really see the big deal, if everyone now has a smartphone, why not just send an email? If you use gmail and have an iPhone, set it up with their Exchange server and you'll receive push emails immediately...and best of all, no texting fees. I told everyone to never ever text me anymore, just send me an email and I'll get it just as fast.

I agree but I keep my push and fetch off because it consumes too much battery.
