i would need to change the front timing cover to a 03 cobra one, which are like 450 bucks and up.i would have to get a 03 cobra harness and ecu.. i have a 99 cobra and ecu,still need the alt.and mount, a bunch of idlers pullies,03 cobra rails and all the little misc little sensors and crap.i have already the blower,the bottom intake(no intercooler),the front heat exchanger and the big pully assembly that goes across the front of the 03cobra motor.im sure there is more i need but its alot of money to run a damn eaton when i can just turbo it and keep all the 99 cobra crap.if anybody wants to donate to the make a eaton work foundation feel free.

yea thats crazy that the eaton conversion pops up. but all that money plus still have to buy timing cover,harness,ecu all the little sensors....for a eaton is not worth it.already have a turbo lined up.and no the windsor would not be running since dont have any money!!! diapers are getting expensive! jayl i have been thinking about that aod of yours...... i dont think i can pull myself to go back to auto though. even my girl was like "i dont consider it a muscle car if its not a stick" that was kinda a deal breaker. i cant have my girl thinking my car is a wimp.

ok finally got the combo going now. turbonetics t4 .81 AR q trim 76mm ball bearing turbo.and 99 cobra intake. this is gonna be fun to put together.

What bov and wastgate are u gonna run? I'll be looking forward to seeing how it all comes together if I stay pushrod motor I might consider doing a turbo. I def wanna check your car out to get an idea on how I wanna route tubing. Are you making your manifolds?

not sure yet on the bov and wg. im gonna call around and get a general ideal whats best for my application.im gonna set the motor back more into the firewall.maybe cut the firewall out and recess it a little bit to get more room up front.i have a line on a hot side kit for a cobra right now but no sure if it will work.i got more room than a cobra engine bay wise. might just fab it myself. i dont know where im gonna stuff an I/C either. maybe a air to water under the dash. i gave myself a deadline of 2 months... ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Well one things for sure it's gonna be a fun combo with a 76 mm turbo how's it gonna be as far as lag.... just wondering because I have 311ci and I want to run a 67 or twin 50's I will go air/air and with a little work I think I can fab it up behind the grill wanna paint it black to blend in
