so if he is soooo busy that he hasn't has 5 minutes to update the list in over a month then he surely must not have time to be taking on new projects either. or could it be a classic case of being butthurt?

Now why would I have a single reason to be "butthurt"? ![[Confused]](confused.gif) All you have done on this web site is be a pain in my ass. So tell me why I would want to update, MY list, that I do in my spare time as a free service, just because you are pissing and moaning like a little girl over it?
I update the list 3-4 times a year and it will stay that way regaurdless of your bitching. There are plenty of other people that have been patiently waiting to have the list updated.
If you keep up the BS I will not add your car when the list is eventually updated. Speaking of your car, maybe you should do yourself a favor and spend less time two finger typing on the computer and more time spinning wrenches.

spend more time spinning wrenches on my car? for one, i just got done removing the holley efi intake and sold it to luke87gt. the new edelbrock super victor to efi elbow will be in and installed (by me) early next week, putting me even further out in front of your bumblebee. so i'm not sure why you'd want me to spend even more time dialing in the car...hell, there's only 4 people in front of me in a line of 50 as it is.
and i am a cocky asshole...but i am that same cocky asshole that has the shit most people only read about.

I think quick is the butthurt one, drew has a 18" dr, a smaller motor, a hydro cam, a manual, no power adder and not as much chassis work and you are not even a second faster than he is

two minutes before i started this thread i posted in the tech forum about a thread from The_MuffinMan25 talking about putting a 5.0 in a 65 mustang. i offered him all the help and knowledge i have and told him i would not only be glad to help, but that i also actually had the TIME to do it.
and accobra...my cam is a hydraulic as well and is not quite a full second out in front of him because it was the motor's first 3 passes right out of the box with zero tuning and leaving off idle. (i have the vids if you are going to debate the off idle comment.)

Dammm you have alot of friends on here LOL. sounds like you need to get to the track and lay down some real numbers. BTW ac cobra in reference to the locked post nobody is looking at a Vega before a clean 65 mustang thats just the way it is ![[Wink]](wink.gif) ....and bitchin at Drew will get you no were I don't know to many people on here who don't like him......time to take it to the track and prove something...

thats fine, you were making test passes, but I wouldnt be bragging about how you are gonna be in the 8's and killing everyone blah blah blah until you get some more testing under your belt, I dont claim to put my car in the 8's because it hasnt been there yet on a track__, as its only made 1 pass
and btw - I leave of idle on purpose ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

i know i can't claim 8's...especially since i have never even gone 9.X. hell, the truth of the matter is that my car will probably never eve3n see an 8 second pass. although, they are going that fast with less motor on a similar chassis, same race weight, and exact same blower and boost level. the only difference is that they know how to tune a car and i am a rookie. if they tuned my car i would be the pinkslip that it would go well into the eights. but i'm not them and am perfectly happy with a bogus tune and some fair numbers...cause the truth is that i have the potential to run sooo much faster and it's just a better feeling than being at the edge of your combo's ability. almost like having a 12" dick...then who cares if only 3 inches is going inside her or not. it's a hell of alot better than the guy that's struggling to smash his balls up against her so he also gets that same 3 inches of penetration. lol.
i'll be at the track after june 1st. due to a disability claim it just simply wasn't worth going out and getting caught on film racing my car while "injured" and a pending $$$ suit was being litigated. see you all SOON! hope you've been "spinning your wrenches" as drew put it.

Yellow94GT never touched anyone's sig or banned anyone, so I'm going to quit spreading that rumor. It's not like I have any proof anyways. All yellow94gt and other mods have done is volunteer their time to help other people buy/sell parts, learn how to make their cars go faster and meet fellow enthusiasts. the layout of the car is at the anderson ford website. under "customer's cars, 5.0, power adder" then look for my time of 10.04 and the name scott canale. there are also a few pics here on ca fords in the pictures section.

I admit it. I'm lost on the connection between not updating the "fastest list" and the level of professionalism, commitment, and devotion to your customers. As for the time comment, maybe it's because Drew is so focused on doing excellent work for his customers that he doesn't always have time to drop everything and update the stupid list. In general, people are running quicker and faster every day... and Drew's probably building or tuning a lot of those cars. If anyone had a reason to brag and update the list constantly to show how quick the cars he's building are going, that would be Drew. Still, I guess it's a matter of priorities.
Speaking of priorities, I cracked a piston on my '87 coupe a while back and Drew dropped everything to hook up his trailer and come pick up me and the car. Better still, I had never even met the guy at that time. My first introduction to the guy was him helping me push my car on to his trailer. I don't know too many people who would go that out of their way for someone they don't even know. Enough said.

you misunderstood my comments. i wasn't criticizing drew's work ethic nor competence. what i was doing is giving him a hard time because his first response to not updating the list was that "he didn't have time." i have since noticed several posts from him on various threads that proved he had been observing enough free time to wander around on the board. but you are right, he does tune several of the cars on that list, so the fact that adding me would bump down all of the cars he's tuned, including his own, it's probably not something he's dying to find time for.
