That thing is fuckin ill man!!
Hell yeah. One of my favorite cars!!
My neighbor had a 68 deluxe fastback with a 428 4 speed in it in that same color when I was growing up. He let it just sit outside in his side yard. It is still sitting there. He is/was a navy seal.

NICE!!! I've always loved 69-70 fastbacks...the bodystyle screams "MUSCLE"! ALl that thing needs is a nice paint job and some nice Shelby or Mach 1 wheels and you're set

Looks a lil constipated all stock with the fading 40+ year old paint.... Add some mild (Or wild) mods with your resto and I'm sure you'll have it "shittin" all over Cafords soon enough!

Thanks for all the inspiration everyone. After my heavily modded '67 I must admit I'm having a tough time with this one. She's a rare bird and I don't want to ruin her value by hopping her up too much.
There are sooo many things I could do to make this one a racer but I think she's just going to be a cruiser. I might just make her handle a little better and do some minor upgrades, maybe a cam and heads on the stock block and some good sounding exhaust. This one has beauty queen written all over it. lol. The car is in great shape except for the usual restoration necessities. The body is straight as an arrow, everything works, no major rust, and the motor runs really well.

Engine bay is 99% complete.
Installed battery, tower braces and air cleaner sticker.
CHANGING AIR CLEANER BADGE
Here's the new air cleaner sticker. I like this better. It's definitely more what I had in mind. I think without it the engine bay looks too boring, just needed a little color.
