$10 per person is resonable, additional $5 if you bring a guest. You pay, you get registered, all registered people check in when they arrive and get a food ticket; those with tickets eat first. If you are one of the organizers you are void of paying.
But if there are alot of people registered this will be too much for one person to handle, so there should be several from both sides of the tracks organizing. You can make this an annual thing and it will grow bigger each year.
