It say's it's a stock block, so it could be built with stock part's or aftermarket but as We all know the stock block is usually the 1st thing to go "when You throw 400-500 rwhp at it" assuming You don't have a high milage engine or a bad tune. Nice times for Dude & many people have pushed the stock block into the 9's but obviously thing's can and will go wrong at this power level it is just a matter of time:eek: .

There are a few of us that have run high 10s/low 11s all day long on stock blocks. The motor in this one may be a stock block, but that's alot of nitrous. Obviously a wet kit with a FAT tune...it looked like a freight train at the top of 2nd and 3rd.

Not sure what the big deal is. Do you guys fail to realize the stock shortblocks that came in Mustangs have forged pistons in them already? Well, maybe not since you keep insisting on throwing a few grand of stroker parts into the stock blocks. I really doubt theres anything in that block besides ford pistons. The rotating assembly is not the weak link on a roller 302 so it would be a waste of money to put high dollar parts inside when the stock parts do the job just fine til the block goes.

And if it had an LS1 it would have went 9's anyways...

At least you finally saw the light and are starting to appreciate my responses a little more. Nothing was generic about the post. I guess you just came to the stark realization that you wasted all that money putting a 331 in a stock block? Well, at least next time you'll know better at least.

I know all these years I have been running it, all the races I have won. The thousands of street miles it has has been a complete waste of money. [Roll Eyes] How many of these stock block strokers can you actualy beat with your 514? because I have no idea who you are or what car that you have.(not that I care)I just want to be sure I am not wasting my time talking to a 13 year old kid who repeats what he keeps reading on the corral. because it sure seems like it..this place is full of them. post up a pick of your junk. mine is under my name in the Pic section

I just wanted to see why you were talking crap . For 1/2 the price of your 514 and half the weight twice the fuel milage..probably 3 times lol. You could have a 347 stock block stroker with a vortech that would pound the hell out of your 514. But you seem to feel the need to tell all the people who have succsesfully done it they are stupid for wasting there money on stock block strokers. go figure

Considering anything but the smallest blowers can break a stock shortblock, I guess theres really no need to put an expensive rotating assembly in it to do the same thing now is there. If you think you need a stroker to break a roller 302 block then you really shouldnt be talking to me about "how its done". You arent the only one who has built a few cars. And I saw pictures of yours. I think the work is ok but you are nowhere near my level of craftsmanship when it comes to building cars. Sorry but thats just how it is. Of course it cost a little to build it but money wasnt my concern on that. I dont know where I have seen a pump gas 347 make 800hp on nuts and cruise wherever I want it too. I dont guess you or anyone else has either? I guess if you want to get technical, my parts are capable of about 1200hp but thats not what I wanted and 460 blocks start getting unhappy around 1000hp or so anyways.

lol 800 hp you better throw up some proof of that. I know all about building 460. Yep there are broken stock block blower engines on here everyday....do not take my word for it read the others peopl comments also. Personaly I consider putting any money in a 71 mustang a waste but that is just me so everybosy has there opinion.

BTW my 91 is a daily driven car, rain, snow, whatever even camping trips. Kind of pointless to make it a show piece.

You have never seen my work so nice try.

OK I am done arguing this, it is pointless there are to many examples on this thread you can make stock block combo's(and strokers) run the numbers and live. 514 you have no credibility in my book. Go get some then come back ,I am done with you.
