I should be back up there on Wednesday if you want to come up and give me some more pointers. This was the 4th time at the track in my life. So yeah, I suck.

I think anyone who ran on McCreary's and 10-holes to a few 13.7s or 13.8s from 2-3 years ago will be good enough too
RedC5: can't wait to see who gets to run you. Heard you're good for a mid 11 now maybe I'll be the lucky one in the other lane that gets to spray on you
Shady, I just noticed you are number 4 on the list. No way would I get paired up with you.

I'm hardly #4, that sounds like bush-economics. Probably more like #8

I do own a FORD. I drive it 6 days a week. It's a Taurus, and it's probably faster than half the cars on this site.

RedC5, I think you & I would be a good match for this race. I don't plan on running slicks or skinnies... Just the DR's I use for the street. Our MPH is fairly close....as is our ET & 60fts. I don't really like the thought of running against an Auto LS1 with slicks that launches on the juice. I just can't match 1.5 60fts...& we all know ET is in the first 60 feet.

The irony of this is I do own a chevy, drive it 6 days a week and I guarantee you it's faster than your Taurus. What now?

I like your thinking Shaun. Have you made that 11 second pass you've been looking for? I wasn't planning on running skinnies either and wouldn't want to race a Mustang that pulls of 1.5 60' all day long. Maybe we'll get lucky.

Irony at it's finest. Now nothing, I couldn't care less about the Taurus. It's lucky I change the oil every few months.
