PM me and we can talk about it in private if you want. He knows he is only allowed to talk smack in one (1) forum here, and no, Drag Racing isn't that forum. Lets drop the topic and move on [ May 31, 2003, 11:08 AM: Message edited by: st5150 ]

you may get another low 11 sec ride, my car will hopefully be running in the next week or so...but my brothers 11 sec street car will be there for sure...
Does your brother post here?
no he does not post on cafords...if your trying to get a race going on the street he only races at a stop...sorry no dyno racing...
peter does not call anyone out, he does not freeway roll anymore, and he only races from a stop at the track now. he was asking that question to point out the fact that no one cares about your bro's car since it's cafords vs norcalls1 and he belongs to neither of them.
Exactly, For people like me who are DIEING to race but don't quite have a fast enough car but are good members it sucks if someone who has never posted takes another spot below us, thus making it more impossible for us to race.
KCmustang. I go to the track with some friends at least 2-3 times a month. Drop me a PM and I'll let you know when we are going. You're welcome to go with us.
I am always up to race I love going to the track and I am there about 3 times a month. I was just saying that I wanted to compete in the event with all of the cafords guys. Either way I will be there and will at least run for fun but I would love to square up against a few cars around my speed. See you all there whether or not I am on the list.

You better show up! There are a number of LS1 owners still sore and bitter from the whooping you gave them last year. They seek revenge [ June 02, 2003, 12:12 PM: Message edited by: st5150 ]

Now Sawson if I remember TheBrain has had some, how should I say this....Bad luck? with breaking some parts at the track...Lets not try and promote anymore damage...keep in mind he has blown up: Axles, T5, Tremec 3550, and I think a driveshaft, in back to back trips to the track. 11.2 is a lot faster then any car sitting at the line with parts on the ground.

Here is a short list of the parts I have had "bad luck" with over the past 2 seasons THREE T-5s ONE T-5z TWO Throwout bearings TWO FRPP Aluminum driveshafts (one of which broke on the 3/4 shift and took out both mufflers, one of the e-brake cables, damaged the fuel and brake line, the tranny mount and crossmember, and broke the mounting ears off of my near new TKO TWO Driveshaft yokes (in addition to the above driveshafts) ONE Stock axle ONE Upper control arm ONE Lower torque box
Then there was the now infamous trip to the dyno That took out the head gaskets and damaged both heads
I know there is more, I just can't remember it all Sucks racing a very heavy car and having no fear of the 5000+ rpm clutch dump

My favorite quote from this long ass tread:
"Cool, I know a bunch of 5.O guys around here that don't have a computer or aren't computer literate. You should make him an account here and a yahoo email address to get him started."
Doesn't sound like a fair grudge match to me. Reminds me of the kid on the playground that would go get his older big brother to settle his fights for him.
And what's up with the Chevy guys only being able to run 2 late model engines while the ford guys are running old ass 80's fox bodies that cost way less to build into fast cars while the equivalent chevy's are excluded from the competition.
If you let the old school chevy's in, I'm sure the 9sec mustangs would have ample competition. Just my unwanted 2cetns

RC-- We're trying to have fun here, not win a national championship title and break world records I recomend www.pscaracing.com if you're interested in serious Ford & Chevy racing.
FlyingLow-- Don't worry about the numbers, its a very rough list. The actual ranking will be assigned on race day!

Dammit! My friend's bachelor party is on the 14th. I would have loved to have shown what my car can do. Mid 11's with good track conditions. I'll just have to make the next one for sure.
