got some misc pieces put on and all interior clean and back together. Now I have to wait a few weeks for cutting and buffing

the painting part is actually pretty easy, the prep and all the bs to get there is where all the work is..

the clear lays on great like glass, but after a few days it gets some orange peel. Once you cut and buff it, the gloss comes right back. If i wanted to i could cut down more for even more of a gloss, but i dont wanna burn thru the paint (still a rookie at this) [ October 24, 2011, 03:43 PM: Message edited by: 68dustin ]

I noticed that in the first few pictures ... Looks great After cutting and buffing ... Did it get that bad of an orange peel in the jams ?

No being a smaller area it didn't orang peel at all in the jambs.
