When I was a kid Hot Wheels came with regular sized wheels. I noticed a few years ago that Hot Wheels had started to come with wheels that look WAY too big for the car...I guess it was just a matter of time.

If that car made a sharp turn, it's gonna flip over easy like an SUV. It's center-of-gravity is too high.

We are all to some degree personalizing our Mustangs and making them fit our personality by making modifications that we feel looks/performs to our liking.
That look my not be considered mainstream, and it may cause me to shake my head while whispering "idiot" under my breath when I see it drive by, but it certainly is unique and garners a lot of attention. Maybe that is what this owner is going for?
My only issue with this ass-hat is that he is hacking up the body and fenders to make that look possible. Anything is reversible given enough money and time, but reversing that fender hacking would likely cost more at most body shops than the car is worth. In that sense the modification is irreversible because very few would take on that project unless 87-93 notches became extremely scarce...
I personally would prefer to start with a 4 banger car than try to revive that monster truck.
