Topic: Sound deadening or carpet with Mass back?

Just wanted to ask if the carpet kit from 50resto with mass back is worth it for sound deadening? Or is it better to get the cheaper carpet then go get some dyna mat or what ever.
Experiences, opinions, expertise even flames welcome.

i've had both.
I did the whole dynamat (sound proffing stuff) on the 03 cobra and it added about 20 lbs, easily, but keep the exhaust pretty mellow even after it was modded.
I did the thicker carpet deal from 50resto on the vert and also felt a difference.
which one would i do know??
Neither. Both are not really significant enough to make the labor worth it.

gotcha, I just want the cockpit to be as quiet as possible. Wife always complains about the exhaust sound. Might go the deadening route since I am swapping the interior.

you could always get the thicker carpet and add dynamat in places close to the mufflers like under the rear seat and in the spare tire well
