An X-pipe would clean the sound up considerably. Either that, or weld the cross-over up, I can hear it leaking on the clip. (raspy exhaust note).

i welded that cross over up .the leak is coming from the pass header i think.i tightened the bolts many times.but still hear it. X pipe, i thought that H pipes would give you a better deeper sound.I always thought H pipes were preferred.so should i go woth the SLPS? or change my h pipe as well.i dont want any backfiring noise i hear on some mustangs no popping.Maybe i should wait to do all this after i do H/C/I ?Not sure when that will be though

If you plan to do H/C/I, leave the exhaust. It will wok fine with the new setup

yeah. I have set on my car. It's a 4.6, but its Deep at Idle, wild as all hell wide open. I too run an O/R H. Its all in which muffler you get too.
