I'm at Winco SuperMarket on March Lane. This dude was getting his groceries packed by his white wife. (of course white) I noticed dudes got tats all over his arms. I thought it was prison tats or something. When he turned around, "skinhead" was on his forehead. I thought there weren't any around here. Not in a racially diverse town. I avoided eye contact. His checkout clerk is a black girl. The dudes not rude to her at all. Not even a rude look. And she kept her good manners on, too. She didn't even give a 2nd glance. His wife continued to pack food n' stuff.
When he turned his back to leave, he had the tat of Der Swastika on the back of his head. "Ohhh Shitt"! I thought. I hoped this guy would leave the place without getting hassled by anyone. Especially since he brought his baby daughter, too. Now, the "old timers" of Stockton age 60 & up can see this guy. I saw the look in their eyes of disappointment or emmbarrasment. But nobody said a comment to him. Nor did the skin head dude. He didn't notice a thing. This was my 1st time ever seeing & being in the presence of a skinhead. I guess no one can say anything directly to him about his beliefs. With the exception if he slapped a black person or says racial slurs to others. I see that dude from time to time. I think for the most part he is cool. I never see him hassle anyone. I shop at Winco all the time.
Believe it or not I have a dude that I really cool with that has some tats like that. For the most part was part of his childhood. But he is a cool cat. Even had him over for a BBQ. Word on the street is we have quite a few practitioners of that faith on this board.

Read my post again. I am not saying he is right. But he is being a man about his. And for that I give him respect. And if I have to deal with racism I'd rather it be in my face type rather than the cowardly behind doors type. Like at home, there is a clear line in the dirt in some areas. I guess it is my upbringing and experience that makes my point of view. But like I said not saying his view is right or what I support. But you know where his head is at. Most of the shit whote people catch is historically based as no other race in the US has hundreds of years of history of enslavement and oppression inder their belt. Not saying its fair but those emotions don't come from nowhere.
And as far as freedom of speech goes I guarantee that was written into the constitution with the hope that people would speak out against a tyrannical govt. In order to uphold democracy and so that people could voice their ideas to influence social progress and change. Not so that people could say or advertise offensive material under the umbrella of "freedomod speech." But this is just my interpretation of it
