Man this has been an exciting game today LOL. I hope Vernon Davis is alright. That sure was borderline being called an incomplete pass. That call could have gone either way IMO.

Yea he had a bad game. Big deal. Tell us about all the points smith was accountable for vs Buf.
Davis was the difference. Backup tight end dropped a 50 yard strike that would have made it two possessions.
Also Panthers have a great defense. No denying that.

But man today sucked. He had no time in the pocket. Defensive ends played so good for Car.
After this game I feel good about the 9ers still. They held a dual threat QB, with amazing RBs to 10 points. The defense is AMAZING! You can point to a couple plays, any of which would have changed the game.
The one that gets me is Vance Mcdonalds dropped pass. It was a perfect spiral in his hands just passed the defenders reach, far down the field. Somehow he drops it.

Funny what comes out in post game. Today's entire gameplan was based on two and 3 tightens packages. Well, two of them went down. One left. What can you do?
70% of that playbook is dual tightend personnel groups. It's how they play. Tight end heavy. So, shit happens. Lol.
Still, hats off to Car D.

I still am not sold on them staying hot. They have had a lot of shake your head moments. Luckily they have pulled some miracles out. They are a good team no doubt, but somebody else is going to knock them down, and the Niners have all the threats back when Seattle comes to town.
Your gameplan is power run and medium pass game out of 2 and 3 tight end heavy sets, and two of those right ends go down, makes it hard.
3 of 5 on their first drives for putting up points. Then another tight end goes down.. There went the offense.
Their plan b, was not good enough to beat the #1 defense in the league. No shame in that.
Niners D is too good. And they are good enough offensively when the people are healthy. They have the #1 rush attack. Again, we lost both tight ends, starting safety, starting DT. Somehow the defense still is that stout. Making adjustments in game to losing personnel.

Today Colin had no time to throw! The offensive line could not even hold back the 4 defensive linemen! When they threw a blitz in there, it was over for Kaep! I think he did a good job with the tools he was given! Honestly a shitty low scoring game against a great defense don't change anything!
And the chiefs will end their streak next week. The cupcake season is really in their favor and is about to change! They are a good team, not a GREAT team. I think they lose first game in the playoffs.
Seachickens???? Well they are a good team as well but they started out strong and are week by week losing their momentum! They are going to lose at candlestick and depending on home field advantage, they may go far in the playoffs.
Tough game next week against the saints. I think we play better when we know we have to, it's these mediocre teams that pull it out on us because we underestimate them and then in the 2nd half it quickly becomes to late!!

I agree with most of this. 49ers had some close plays still that costed them. They will be so much different with Crabtree back. Not to mention, losing the players you based your gameplan for the week on early hurts. Carolina has the perfect type of defense to stop the 49ers too. Would have been different without the injuries, but that D is great.
