This coming May 15th is bike to work day and I am looking forward to pedaling at least 40 miles to and from work. If any body else is interested in parking their Mustang for a day just to save on gas or do somthing different, you can check outwww.511.org for all the details. If you register for bike do work day, you could win a $750 bicycle shop gift certificate. [ May 11, 2003, 01:15 PM: Message edited by: cobraracer46 ]

Ok with the hummer you get the 100 points for running over the biker on his way to work but if you back up and run over him again you get double points. I cant wait till thursday when those spandex morons signal a left turn and my car rips their arm off. Remember thursday is knock down pedal pussy day. If you knock down the most you get a free nx kit for your stang.

It appears that not every body at CA Ford's is with me on the bike to work day gig and that's ok, But remeber to share the road with cyclists when ever you drive your Mustang, lightning,Super duty Power stroke or what ever you happen to cruise in, especialy on thursday, because a fellow California Ford's member will be out on thursday biking on the mean streets of San Francisco and Marin County.

Jesus christ, what the hell is wrong with riding your bike to work!!? Some of you guys are fuckin sick, you dont even know the guy and your saying your gonna run him over!!!? Just in case you hadnt noticed, gasoline is a NON-renewable(or at least a very slowly renewable) resource and I'd think that while YOU may not want to ride your bike you may want to encourage others to instead of telling them that your going to run them down with your car. Admittedly SOME road bikers blow thru lights and and violate other traffic laws but, most road bikers espically commuters ride safely. I'm sorry so many of you seem to have so much trouble navigating around bicyclists but, bikers pay taxes and have just as much right to their portion of the road as any car.
cobraracer46-Way to go man! Sounds like a pretty long ride(SF to Marin), and dealing with asshole drivers makes it sound even worse. I know i'd probably make it to work at about when it was time to go home, commuting on my bike.

lol@ the last 10 replies or so, I'm up for the 20 mile each way trip to work, I've done it a few times before, but dealing with road ragers makes it pretty unsafe, it's ridiculous out there near freeway onramps/offramps.
