New and old people on here
How did you know about the site, and if u were on cobra98.com how did you know about that site?
Me , It was about 8 years ago.. I seen a sn95 gt with the Cobra98.com sticker .. and i thought that shit is not a cobra!lol then when some sense came into me i checked out the site.. never signed up but would check it out and then one day i went on and it would take you to cafords.com and then i signed up.. not with this scrren name.. wish i knew my old name...

saw a few 98cobra.com stickers on cars at the good guys show in pleasanton one year. It wasn't until after it became cafords.com that I joined though.

I used to see a yellow sn95 cobra around Hayward with a 98cobra.com stickers and joined it when I had my 96 supercharged v6. I started going to the "show n shine" meets and met some people. I lost my original login info so I had to create a new account which is what I use now...back then, the people were waaaayyy different and the vibe on the board was a lot different as well.

I'm here cause primer is my favorite mustang color, I enjoy trying to decipher people's spelling, I love to argue about shooting police with TashasCoupe and I'm waiting for Yaterstang to come out of the closet. But basically I joined cause I heard Epik talking about the site and have since hung out with and met some cool folks from here.

Forgot who he was, but I got my old 90 GT stolen and I needed a new steering column, I saw his ad on CL and met up. He told me about cafords.com, so I checked it out, and thought it was the neatest local forum.
I think it was Matt(HaulinAss), he was driving some kind of a Wrangler or a Samurai or something.

well i was stalking eddie510 and heard he had a set of ffp valve covers i wanted so i joined to have a reason to meet! lol jk
same as everyone else..it was the 98cobra.com stickers so i checked it out.. think it was already cafords.com when i signed up under my old account...supercharged90lx i think...i lost the info and ended up making this one later on..98cobra.com was back in the dial up days, before DSL even...haha our computers were super slow!

I first joined back in 07 when I bought a new edge mustang and got back in to stangs. This place had all sorts of people selling parts so it was easy to find what you needed cheap. I tried to look back to find my first post, but I didnt post in the general section til this one.

LOL Yeah I was too poor to be a Broncos fan and growing up in Del Paso I always liked mexican chicks so I knew a Raiders t shirt would be a sure fire way into their pants.

I joined after the 98Cobra days, but I found the site when it was still 98Cobra. I think I found it when I was looking for local forums and didn't want to join based on the name being too specific.

I joined 98cobra.com because all the Cool Kids were doing it ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
A few of us back in the day would hang out and work on making our cars faster (and finding out who's car is fastest )
Gabe started 98cobra.com (Beautiful yellow 98 cobra drop top) with hopes of giving us all a place to hang out when we're not at someones shop or garage.
The website grew and grew and next thing you know most of us didnt have 98 cobras, so, we thought why not change the name to something that would fit more people?
