Looking for Cobra sites (I had a 93 Cobra) and started off with typing 93cobra.com, 94cobra.com, and got to 98cobra.com and saw this and happen to be local too.

I think it was Joe (sac5.0) that got me to check out the site in 2001 ish. I browsed a lot before joining. Most of us older sac people have been into mustangs for well over ten years now. Like Daniel said word quickly spread amongst us about the site.

Was looking to buy a 2000 GT so i was lurking, getting as much knowledge as I could. Then met up with both Brians, Harold, Rob, Matt, all the old school guys for meets that would start at Brian's house. Those were the good old days using GSS-342 in a returnless style system in the supercharged GT/Cobras! Those guys were cutting edge with all the mods to their cars super early!
I even remember heading up to Griggs once watching some tasty movies in the back of Harold's truck to pickup Matt's car. ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif)

i got on her very long ago. john cm i tink told me bout it. i also remamber when ppl would meet up back in the 98cobra days and seeing the stickers. i also think jack from rsvl along with ray {whos red sc saleen clone sold awhile back} all helped lead me here. i got on this site when i was like 14 or 15. now 24 have had 8 stangs met many ppl from this site been to a cruise or 2.
hell ya for cafords.
some of you may remember way back at one of the cafords cruise. we had a group comeing from sac. it was like yr 00 or 01. i had my grandpa and 2 frineds int he back in a red v6 smashing to the cruise on a permit and then the oilfiter came loose mid way. any one remember that? back like koniea days. this guy joel had a black 99 cobra very and the top cover flew off going like 140

I joined a long time ago as a buddy with a mustang took me to a Show and Shine at Foster Freeze, I think in 2001....been here ever since

I heard from this site awhile back like 5 years ago from i thin his name is dan. He raced the turbo cobra in his wrx. was a vary close race. Anyone remember that? black wrx vs black cobra?

I was tired of the MoPar scene. Sold all my cars and bought a 1993 GT. Dan (Turbo50) and I had known each other for a while and he told be about 98cobra..aka cafords. The rest, is history..

I was partingout my first stang and 2 dudes came over and were hella debating against eachother over what was better trick flow twisted wedge heads or afrs.. One the guys I forget his name told me about eastbayracing when it was actually a legit site and then somehow I heard about cafords from that site too.. The guy was a white dude that had a 79 pace car he was building up.. I think a lot of people knew him. He ended up parting the car out for some reason.

Ya I made a account back in like 03/04ish and forgot my password so had to make another.. But the site back then sure was waaaay different then how it is now. It seems like now everyone wants to talk shit and fight about little shit. It use to be calm and everyone tryin to help someone else out.

One of the best, if not the best car on the board right here. I bought some parts off you way back in 2003. Thing is a BEAST lol.
I do remember at one of the Cal State Hayward events, that you were behind us about 6 cars leaving and all you could hear was that prochargers whine.
