price is also substantially less

put a spool in it. its stronger then a posi and a ,lot less rotating mass/weight. theres guys above the whp ur asking with ls and 2jz's runnin that rear. IMO ur good to go.

8.8 is a beast when done right. Just really depends on who builds it and what internals! Hoping to push this one to those limits! I only really trust spools and 35+ spline setups though.

The car I help with in the WCHRA series has the same setup w/ an 8.8 spool/etc and we just a 5.30@140 mph on 8.5s @ 3200lbs in Vegas a few weeks ago!
