neutral, 28oz, 50oz flywheel whats the difference? what do the flywheels have different than eachother. I know it has to do with the way the engine is balanced.

There is a weight attached to it, kind of like balancing a tire, I don't think you can change them though, you need to buy the specific one you need for your application.

Yellow94GT never touched anyone's sig or banned anyone, so I'm going to quit spreading that rumor. It's not like I have any proof anyways. All yellow94gt and other mods have done is volunteer their time to help other people buy/sell parts, learn how to make their cars go faster and meet fellow enthusiasts. If you are using it on that 331 you scored, I believe you will need a 28oz. flywheel. That,s what I think it said on DSS,s web site. If you use the wrong one like a 302 50oz. you will probably ruin the crank bearings and rearmain seal, not to mention the vibration problem.

it is a 331. and it does take the 28oz parts. I was just wondering the difference just so i know for future usage. The balancer is on its way and should be here monday. i already have the flywheel. i bought that from ford racing. this morning
