What injectors are you using? First things that are free that i would do is remove that 1inch spacer, get rid of the C&l for a better meter, and focus on tuning it. What do the plugs look like? Timing? Fuel Pressure?

C&l's aren't bad at all. I have used/had many of them on different cars. The problem with them 99% of the time, is people either have a elbow right before the maf or a filter. You need it to have about 4-5 inchs of straight smooth air for the tube to meter the air correctly.

Make sure you are running the correct length spark plugs for those heads, if not you will be down on power. The wrong plug may not be reaching all the way into the combustion chamber. What number autolite plug are you running?
Taken straight from the Edlebrock web site: Recommended spark plugs are Champion RC12YC or equivalent 14mm x 3/4" reach with flat gasket seat. [ August 17, 2012, 05:09 AM: Message edited by: 5LiterPeter ]
