Oh oh oh...I thought you were referring to the grudge night. I was pitted next to Alston. I didn't make it to the pinks deal this year because I was still getting the car ready for the WCHRA race...but I plan to be at the Bakersfield event next September.

greg I was going to come over and talk to you at the grudge but you looked really busy... your car hurt something and you guys were scrambling so i just stayed back...
I had my own issues to contend with since we were heads up racing for over a grand and i was pretty stressed... ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Oh ya...first pass off the trailer in TNT the transmission blew up. We were entering the Big Dawg Shootout as car number 8, so we pulled the transmission. Dave Bowman had his spare transmission in the trailer and was on his way to the track. He was going to let me borrow or sell me the transmission; however, when we realized that whatever blew on my transmission could have put junk in the converter, we didn't want to risk hurting a fresh transmission, so we dedicated the rest of the night to drinking ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
So...when are you getting wheelie bars?

well theo and I are currently talking about how we can keep the front end down without using bars..... 7 second radial cars are doing it so i know it can be done.... we're thinking weight up front or possibly a few lca changes might do it.... my torque arm isn't helping the situation either.... it's making it easy for the car to go straight up.... I could swap to a glide and eliminate the problem altogether but I would need to wait till after the new year to do so since it's like a 3K dollar proposition.... 1500 if I sell my current TH400/converter for like 1500 bucks...
