Actually, you may not make it past tech without a cage, firejacket, 5-point harness, DS safety loop, etc. Everyone will be set up on a ladder so to be competitive you will have 2 state your times before you get to run. So tech may snag alot of people this year and since we (Norcal-LS1) are renting the track we cannot put ourselves in a liability position for not meeting NHRA tech standards. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Damn it, I may get booted then unless anyone has a 5 point harness and fire suit I can borrow as well as a welder and can add onto my cage( and while your at it weld on a anti-sway bar )

man that sucks well I can go all motor well I can't do that either hoping to go mid 11's on motor. I was charged before it is NA now but the juice is on the way

I ran a 10.5 on motor with a fucked tranny and 2 broken valve springs and not much traction. I now have a new tranny and a bigger stall. Heads are at the machine being gone through. Once the motor is back together I'm going to dyno the motor and chassis dyno. Hopefully my traction problem is solved and I have a NX Gemini Twin that I'm dying to try out.

and yes, its sounds like 9's will come quickly on the spray, maybe on motor alone

66 AC Cobra I am with you in 2005 I am sooo ready to take it to those LS1's!!! Actually I might be able to do it this summer or sometime around there! I have always wanted to beat an LS1. before I got my car I asked my good friend Drew(yellow94gt) how do i get faster then a LS1. His response was "get a stroker or get a blower" Well I am putting together my Heads, cam, Intake, blower car, and I am ready to beat some LS1's baby!!!

well i have beat a few ls1's, havent been beat by one yet, i have never been up against a head cam lsi but i did beat a 75 shot guy on the street "i dont think he could drive", i also took out my hot foot uncles stock z06
and good times ahead, my coupe will be running by june, will be on a stock rear end so i cant launch for shit but hey, it will be like camara's car just lighter, and more power, but same crappy rearend and unconsistent posi
