Car only ran 107mph when I first got there. So much for the dyno tune yesterday. After some retuning and removing "The Air Adjuster" from in between my MAF and EECIV, got back into the 113's. Thanks to some great coaching from bunchmyfunky, I finally had a decent launch on the next to to the last run. Thanks, bud.
60ft- 1.67
1/8th- 7.65 @ 90.61
1/4- 11.990 @ 113.964 !!!!!!!!!!
and that is w/ Ponies up front- no skinnies. (and A/c, P/S. PW/PDL, smog pump, etc. still in place.) Removed front sway bar, Dyna-Batt (actually, the original Genesis battery the gets renamed Dyna Batt), electric fan, short belt. Typhoon intake instead of the cut up and ported Cobra.
Maybe Mark will give his impressions of the last few runs from trackside. Thanks again!
I think the mph is there for a tenth or so less ET...

And where were you? I heard your car was packed and ready for the track- just waiting on good weather. You would have had a new best.

And another thing, once you put an 80lb rollbar in it, you'll be back in the 12.teens

Good job man! It was just a matter of time. I had a suspicion the air adjuster was causing problems, I thought we discussed bypassing it...in fact I thought you did at the dyno.
Anyway, let's do a writeup on that POS. Talk to you more at work about it.
later!

Congrats Jim! Too bad I took off early, I would have loved to see that run!
Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have the drivetrain bugs on 91PONY worked out & we'll get another shot at an 11 second timeslip.

Tranny OK? The lights were having isues at the end, so no numbers were coming up on the big boards. You had to wait and see the timeslip to know what anyone ran.
