OK, we are past the "how 'bout" and into some real feasibility studies. A web page will be up in a couple days describing the event as we envision it at this point. Stay tuned.

Wow, a year is a long way off. Who knows what combos we'll be running then .
It should be great fun though.

So basically I need to start saving up $5 per month to pay for this thing. Ok.
Are we going to sign up for a mailing list or anything?

lol, a race day planned over a year in the future with everybody talking about combos that aren't even close to completion. bench race much? I think there's like ONE dude in this thread who could back his car out of the garage NOW and lay the fear into everyone

LJ's YS trim will not be a good race for Bounty Hunter car. I doubt a YS trim has enough for a mid 8's run.

Obviously I'm down to go and race.
Most likely I'll break every combo I can come up with between now and then and still won't run worth a crap but hey, maybe this new head/cam combo will do the trick.
Hey Jay (Marshall Mathers), wanna help me set up a wet kit so I don't get passed by too many Stangs?

Hey, if this is going to be a "heavy hitters" event on the Mustang side, it would be awesome if these local stangs showed up:
(much faster than it looks in that picture )

John&Dan- I've never seen those pictures before I know I've missed a few other cars as well. I know some of the owners are only occasional visitors to this forum, so maybe some people could spread the word? [ August 28, 2002, 09:35 AM: Message edited by: st5150 ]

Shootout web page updated.
- Class added: 14.00 & up. The 13.50 & up class was revised to 13.50-13.99.
- Reworked the math on Qulification runs. Run count doubled (!!), Eliminations time reduced.

Yep. I had Chris Chow & his wife over for dinner last Saturday to talk at some length & work out some details, and Chris will talk to Norman & Ben. [ September 09, 2002, 08:22 PM: Message edited by: Dean Nelson ]

trbo50 is the old owner of that lil yellow mustang coupe in the pics above on this thread. in fact...that damn car will be for sale really soon, just got some cosmetics and a few mechanical things to finish up before its popped up for sale. 87 coupe w/ a 347, glide, built 8.8, weld rims, mid/motor plate, hal tubular coil over suspension, dbl adj sway bar, metco upper/lower control arms, and a complete certified ten point cage w/ the capabilities of hitting high nines on a very very small shot of nitrous. Dan...I think you should buy my car
