camara90.. the 3550 is strong.. I've never had a problem with it.. The output and input shafts of the TKO have more splines.. Also I thought they claimed a different type of metal better grade alloy.. I could be wrong.. At least thats what I though.. I do mostly T-5 rebuilds as the Tremecs dont break as much not to mention most people dont even have them.. But they are getting more common..
