Anybody prepared,live, or even work in an area that might be greatly impacted by the storm that's about to hit? CHP is advising people to stay off the road, there are sandbags being sold at different places, and people are being advised to stock up on water and whatnot. Just curious as to what everyone is doing to get ready, if anything.

man I gotta commute in this shit tomorrow and the next day. Only thing that I got ready was some flash lights & some gas for my generator (just incase I need to get on
cafords) lol..

My question as well. I'm sure the North Bay or Santa Rosa and such will get it pretty good, but what out the East Bay and FAARRR East Bay (Walnut Creek, etc)

I'm really nervous about tomorrow's storm. All my guys driving Big Rigs and Class B trucks are gonna be in for an F'd up day. We're trying to double up some guys on routes just to help get them done faster. I wish we could halt our deliveries to Sacramento tomorrow because the Causeway is going to be BAD.

Sand bags are free In most city's. An there saying in going to drop a inch of water every hour at it's peak.

Sacramento is designed for flooding, we have flooded at the dealership twice so I am not excited about the storm. I lived through Katrina just fine so I'm not worried about power outages or getting wet, but driving the 5.0 through streets where there is 2-3 feet of water makes me ill.
Two years ago there was a small storm that passed here. Because of the horrible drain systems here I ran my 2000 GT vert through the streets, had water midway up my doors at one point. This storm is meant to be way worse.

They keep comparing this storm to a storm in 08. In 08 we didn't have power for 7 days, so we'll see if it lives up to it.
