It almost feels like an entire different state in these areas. Im planning on moving back up there in a few months. I used to leave $1000 Go Karts out on the front of the house and leave the keys to my cars inside the ignition unlocked. Part of this was due to there being a police station at the end of the block. People are very nice and the small town feel brings everyone together and everyone looks out for each other.
x2 I can't wait to be able to move back to that area...should've stayed living with my parents there

It wont be a cookie cutter home either. Once the new arena is built I bet property prices will rise as well.
Last I checked down town Sacramento is hood.
For 500k he wont be in the hood. There are multi million dollar homes in downtown sac.
There multi million dollar home is san Francisco an Oakland an there still in the hood.just because it costs allot doesn't mean its a great place to live.

Youre not taking the cost of housing into account. A one million dollars home in sac does not equal a one million dollars home in sf. Compare the sq footage of what you get in sac and sf and the areas you get that in I bet its not ghetto.

Some of you guys are funny. If their are more than 2 people of color living in the area its "ghetto" lol! there are some nice houes in elk grove and natomas. Best thing to do is look at some houses in the area to see if you like them.
