I just saw a SWAT VEHICLE barrel down elkhorn towards the freeway with undercover SUV behind it. I wonder if it was part of that.

Yeah its turning into a war zone out here. 4 officers shot so far so they are going balls to the wall now. The guy is hiding in a house right now.

1 officer shot and 3 officers hit with shrapnel from gunfire. And the 1 officer shot was in the leg

Now they say 3 shot and one with fragments. One is serious condition. The other 3 are stable

Was on-scene... We had been looking for the suspect for several days when he was last confronted and ran from officers. The suspect was a gang member and a parolee-at-large.
Suspect was spotted near his family residence and officers again attempted to contact him. Shots were exchanged between the suspect and officers. The suspect shot an ICE agent assisting a specialized unit attempting to locate the suspect.
Officers had the suspect located to an area and tactical teams were going yard to yeard attempting to apprehend the suspect. At that time, a house within the perimeter was seen to have a kicked in door. As swat operators were appaoching the resident he was believes to be in, multiple shots we're fired and exchanged.
During the exchanges in gun fire, one RPD Swat operator was hit in the face and is in critical condition. A second swat operator was hit in the shoulder and a third swat operator was struck by shrapnel in the face.
Prey for speedy recoveries for all involved.
After long standoff, the suspect surrendered.
It was a very long an intense day. All of the outside agencies and resources was inspiring to see. There teams from the FBI, US Marshall's, Home Land Security, Sac Co, Sac PD, Placer, Rocklin, Auburn CHPD, Folsom, Elk Grove, CHP and probable more I am missing.

I like how the fambly had the nerve to go on tv and say he was a good guy an he didn't do nuffing. So how did 4 cops get shot again???? How did he get on parole? Why does he have a gun after getting out of jail recently? Fuck this guy his family and put him in the hole for the rest of his life, good riddance.
