I'm embarrassed to say that he was a product of the bay area
Please tell me your joking right? Please also tell me your not a fan of Drake, Little Weezy...... The list goes on. To be quite honest. When Mac Dre started getting deep into the Pills I didn't like his music as much as I liked his older stuff. But even high as a kite, he stll came harder then those dumb fucks i mentioned above: To say he is garbage is just crazy. Also if your gonna dis one of the most liked Bay Area rappers you better step up and say who YOU think is a good rapper.
Most likely niki Minaj lol rip Mac Dre "I got ported aluminum heads I'm hella fast your ford is in my rear view I'm seeing checker flags"

Also I think some people give dre a lil too much credit for how far the hyphy movement went.. I blame mistah fab and all the other thizz people that were on there after he died.. dre did go stupid, but there were always real slaps on his albums, and not just the radio shit from his years up to his death.

Serious as a heart attack I put my list up already and (for a good laugh) would love to hear you say that Mac Dre is better than any of these artists I’ve listed.

Mac dre was an independent bay area rapper that had a lot of talent, and didn't sound like every other rapper out there. It don't matter if there's some people who didn't fill his music because that was only a hand full, he was a indipendent millionaire, and when you reach a goal like that, that's all that matters. I have a lot of friends that have been Rappin for years And not close to a hundread thousand, lol. Some do it as a hobbie too tho. On a side note there's this gig, Mac Dre & J. Diggs Birthday Bash Today, Friday, July 6 8:00p at Fiesta Nightclub, San Jose, CA A concert celebrating the Birthdays for 2 of the Bay Areas Biggest Rappers to hit the scene! The Legendary Mac Dre and the current Underground Leading Artist J. Diggs. Special guest performances by, J.Diggs, Mac Mall, Livewire, D Lo, Hoodstarz, Mitchy Slick, Mistah FAB, Bav Gate, Goldtoes, Ryda J Klyde, Husalah, Gorilla Pits, Thizz Dragons, and Jimmy Roses. Not bad for 15$

R.I.P Mac Dre....
I knew the dude personally & recorded CLASSIC records with him... He was a hella cool down to earth dude with a unique style, he deserves respect IMO... His music was about having fun & many of his punchlines were actually pretty witty...

"kick back baby, soak some game, listen up good,im gonna blow yo brain, but before i get started ima have to warn ya, im a mothafuckin mac from california!"
i listened to dre for to long..it sucks i turned my ears off to bay rap when hyphy hit, probably the worse era of bay rap ever..considering listening to old school dubee, mac mall,dre...along with lynch, cbo,new niggas on the block, gangsta dre,mr kee,rbl,11/5,d mac, etc etc...now when i play it, if i do play any mac dre in my car,its at a low level where i can barely hear it...dont want any qweer bag trying to dance by my car or tell me "hella hyphy yadadaada whatever other gay shit"
