I really don't understand what all the hype was surrounding this dude. He would've stayed a local hero and MAYBE would've had a slight buzz. No disrespect to the man...obviously he had a strong fan base in CA, but go anywhere outside of CA and ask about em, no one knew or knows him.

thats weird cause when im out of state ive talked to a few folks who have asked if i listen him, not to mention Jay-Z was spotted with a us open shirt. family members who used to come into my old job had rumored he was going to sign with dre right before he was killed.

All anyone can do is wonder and predict, I once saw an interview with his mom, and to summarize it she said he would've outgrown his heavy drug phase and gone on to do big things, dude was raw as Fuck IMO, and as far as being known outside California goes, my bro came back from guadalajara, MX with a Mac Dre tee and a couple bootleg CD's in the summer of '06, so I guess it leaked a little bit at least
