did you leave the key on? or maybe the fire shorted some wires keeping it on.. had a buddy's car burn down because of him leaving the keys on, so the fuel pump just keep pumping fuel..

First of all sorry for your loss.
Secondly, I think its pretty funny since it is a FIRE bird!! As long as nobody got hurt its ok to laugh now. If this car didn't belong to a member EVERYBODY would be laughing about it (just like a post about a camaro on fire )
Also I get why you would try to save it but I hope you didn't try while the flames were getting bigger cuz at the end its just a car!! And hopefully you had full coverage insurance.
