Isnt it a 6 digit odometer? So unless the Cobra Whiteface Gauge Cluster was changed it very well may have 80k on it. 3800 For a running driving Cobra isnt a bad price at all. Sounds like someone was beat to the deal and may be a lil sore about it?

I believe someone already ran a carfax on it who is on this site. I don't want that car nor did I ever want it. I just know they bought it for 2700 or less and are trying to flip it. Apparently it pushes some white smoke and grinds in reverse. I'm all for making a buck but don't push the car off as if it has no real issues.

Maybe he fixed the issues, if you can buy a car for cheap, fix it and sell it for a grand over and still be a good price. Then do the damn thing!!
If the car is busted then it won't sell, an karma is a MF!!

There is nothing wrong with buying something for less and trying to sell it for more. The beautiful thing is buyers can decide for themselves what they want to pay for something. Capitalism! Imagine that.

Actually I recall the thread where the carfax was run and the car really had 180K on it. If it truly was odometer tampering then there's no telling what else is up with the car. If the seller discloses that information then its all gravy, however if they don't then that's when there is a problem.
Don't think the dude was tryna hate, but potential buyers will likely pay for a car which they think has 80k on it since most people won't run the carfax on a car this old.
Assuming this is the same car I remember in the other thread

so wait...u mean to say that if i purchase a car dirt cheap i can actually make a profit off of it and sell for whatever i want? i was under the impression that the purchase price puts a cap on how much i can sell the car for.

Whoever bought it just did over the weekend. Maybe he fixed all the stuff. Like the white smoke from the exhaust and it grinding in reverse. Let me see if he will give up the vin# and ill run a carfax and put it on here.

Why would it still need a tune up if he put a few dollars into it and fixed it?
