Just bought my first handgun, pretty excited. Haven't yet fired it, but definitely looking forward to it. It's a .40 Sig P229 with night sights, looking forward to your comments. The color combo is definitely unique, and I waited a long time to find exactly what I was looking for.
I was sold on the Springfield XD, but my dad did the right thing and talked me out of it. He's a 1911-guy, former sniper, etc so the polymer frame didn't really do it for him. Glad I took the advice and got a Sig!
Post up what you guys have
good buy bro. have you seen I am Legend? with Will Smith? anyways.. It came on last night, and I ended up watching it again, long story short.. your sig is in the movie. look for the part when he gets fooled by the manequin, right before his dog gets attacked.

HAHA!! No I haven't seen it, but with an intro like that, I'm gonna go rent it this weekend. Thanks for the compliments.
You guys have some nice-looking guns, that's for sure. CALIFORNIAGT my dad bought a Sig GSR like yours about a year ago I believe and really likes it, but he's really taking a good look at the P226 X5 Competition model, but they're asking ~$2500 or so - pretty pricey, but it puts three rounds in a 1" group at 25 yards.
I was torn between the XD and "everything else"; I went with the Sig because I figured I'm spending x amount of money, why not just add a bit more and get the gun that feels 100% perfect in the hand. Nothing against polymer-framed guns, but for my taste they just don't feel as good in the hand.
Post more if you've got them!

I would never own a gun as a hobby. I would though, if my town came under Terrorist Attack or my town came under Zombie Attack.

Yeah kinda, but I don't think anybody will be trying to read when its pointed at them. . The only reason it says that is because there is no safety.

ahhh yes, no saftey, the only type of gun worth owning. I think safety's are for retards. If you need a safety, then you shouldn't be owning a gun.
I'm just teasing anyway. It's a tool, and as long as it does its job, that's what matters

Aparantly Snakebit didn't read them because in his pics he has one with his finger on the trigger and another with the gun pointed at the camera....
