I'm just irritated by the pile of crap Blazer I'm replacing an engine on right now. The ass backwards design of that turd pisses me off...... why do we have to remove 15 bolts to take out the battery box? Best thing GM ever built is the LSX line of engines... too bad it takes them 5.7L or more just to beat a little 4.6 [Big Grin]

Yeah I know about the stock loudmouths but they got the cold air intake not just the lid. Only makes about 15hp difference with the setup. But I still think 05 nd up gts stocc could take ls1's. But nothin higher than a ls1.

Really? I don't know much about those LS1's but I hear there pretty stout motors and respond great to just bolt on's.

Really? I don't know much about those LS1's but I hear there pretty stout motors and respond great to just bolt on's.
My camaro made 387 rwhp and about the same in torque with a cam, ls6 intake, cold air, full exhaust, and underdrive pulley. I'd say that's pretty damn good for bolt ons.
