thanks... I dont have adobe light room, but i will take the advice about the exposure. What about the lens I posted above? what is that good for???

Those are great pictures! Your Mach 1 is definitely the cleanest I've seen! Its different, but not extreme

That one is a Sigma Zoom Telephoto 100-300mm. Bird photography? At the track I use my 70-200mm and sometimes I'm far enough away that I'm zoomed in to 200mm. Lightroom is a tight program, especially if you shoot in RAW.

Raw is an uncompressed format and allows you to tweak the compensation, white balance, etc with a program after without messing up the picture. You may see it labeled NEF in your camera as that is the RAW extension for Nikon.
