since selling shitbox fox mustang and buying a NEW honda fit, i have a lot of money in the bank, nice camera equipment *PM me if you're interested in a photoshoot*, a bunch of mods on the car *cosmetic mods and suspension and wheels*, recently bought a fixed gear bicycle, and yesterday bought a 47" LCD HDTV.
im telling you guys. it's all about the gas mileage.
the last few trips ive observed 42 mpg.
what's your mileage like?

I drive my 08 accord with the 2.4L like a dick and still average at least 24 mpg mostly city/traffic driving. If I drive sane I get closer to 26,27. All highway I'll get 32+ doing 80.

Do even like Mustangs anymore??? You are always referring to it as a shitbox, & always talking about how great your FIT is. I was just wondering???
BTW, Im getting 18mpg in my 95, but I wont be selling it for a gas saver anytime soon because I will be inheriting a beater 84 GTI....

Your mustang was slow, but alot of ours on here arent that slow, & we love our Stangs. No need for you to even be on a forum called "CAFORDS" if you are just going to post about honda fits all the time & keep bashing stangs?? I dont care about what type of gas mileage you are getting. Why dont u go join the Honda Fit forum???...I am going to go hop in my useless, gas guzzling, slow car & go get some lunch now.... [ May 18, 2008, 03:16 PM: Message edited by: EPIK ]

that yellow "pos" is fucking fast. would beat a bunch of the cars on this site in a straight line, and most likely beat ALL the cars on this site on a road course

I drive my Acura TL Type S to work everyday.
I get from 24.56 to recently 27.83.
I drive to drive, not conserve.
It ran a 15.3 at 97.2 which is slow but whatever it is a commute car. My 89GT ran a 15.2 at 98mph bone stock in 1994 so its not far off, I guess.
I also have a 99 Geo Metro 4 door that Iam fixing to get even better mileage with.
My wife drives our suburban and it gets 14mpg.
My mustang gets great GAS mileage because it does not run.
When it does run, however, I am thinking about ethanol.
Also for people on a limited budget, like myself, modding a mustang to go fast works great. Especially if they stick to windsor based setups and 79-93 cars.
If you dont like there are plenty of honda forums.
I can send you some links if you want.

I drive my 400 hp mustang evryday to work, the grocery store, etc. I love my car, and love it more everytime I whoop the crap out of an import. If solbrothers thinks that POS fit could be "fast", hes never been in a fast car. To even make make the fit anywhere near the idea of quick, it would take some serious cash from a rich faggots gay porn carrer to do it.

what's your mileage like?
42 mpg = about $0.10 cents per mile you drive, but spending at least 15K on the car
20 mpg= $0.20 per mile with a 4-5K car
you logic to save money does not "fit".
