It's one of those times where I'm driving to work and there's nothing but talk radio on FM stations. I'm listening to them talk about a local SSU student involved in a wreck, nope, don't know the name. Then they talk of a Healsburgh man involved in a high speed crash, which raises my interest since I know Brandon and his friends live in Healsburgh. They talk of a Mustang crashing and rolling, landing on its roof and of the man, Brandon Clopton, dead at the scene and a woman air lifted to a local hospital. I call a friend and ask him if that's Brandon's last name and neither of us are positive. He checked Brandon's myspace page, no word of it etc. He checks the Press Democrat site and it's on the opening page and talks of a woman named Lauren as the passenger. We were both shocked.
I "ALWAYS" hear of local people on the radio in accidents etc but never actually know them. It kinda hit me like a ton of bricks when I got off the phone.
I do hope Lauren comes out of this ok. Regardless of alcohol or speed involved, she shouldn't pay for sitting in the passenger seat with her life.

I was reading the Chronicle this morning and saw the article. I then went on this site and saw it was a member. That sucks! RIP. So young too, hopefully the passenger can pull through (although it says major injuries not critical) so it seems she will pull through, with a long recovery ahead though.

Go to his myspace page that was posted here by 98COBRA. On his page, go to his girlfriends page "Lauren" and I think he is on her page, where her pictures are at. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm a hater, but it's hard to hate on these facts. I have saved hunrdeds, maybe thousands of dollars here buying and selling parts over the years alone, but I don't care, this website owes me damnit, and I'll piss on it as much as I want. I didn't ever have the pleasure of meeting Brandon in person, but I did converse with him here on CaFords a number of times. He was a great asset to the tech section and many peoples projects from our board. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by all. May he RIP.
Best wishes for his girlfriend to have a speedy recovery.
