What is your living situation now? Do you live at home still or are you out on your own?

You can throw boxes at UPS or deliver Pizzas. There are also plenty of retail jobs that pay 10 bucks an hour. If you don't have any employable skills, you could get a job washing cars or working in a warehouse. Good Luck

I am not sure what your looking to do, but if you need a heads up, you really should use the EDD to your advantage. Some call you a leach and say your tax dollars are what fund it, but thats completely wrong. EDD (Unemployment) is funded by your former employer, not taxes. I am technically unemployed, but I actually have a job starting on the 27th. Inside sales. If you have tryed Craigslist.org then try Careerbuilder.com. I was employed ever briefly through an agency and I have to say, its a RIP! The actuall job you work pays like $10+ more per hour then you're collecting. Also, I hate to mention it, but I know Orchard Supply Hardware is always looking for people, but this is a really tough time of year for retail. Not just hardware, but all retail. You should really consider collecting unemployment. Especially if your former job screwed you over. Guess what, they gotta pay your unemployment, not your taxes or anything else. It's all employer funded. And if you do apply you need to do it soon, because there is a time limit on how long you have to file, and it's really easy on www.edd.ca.gov. But it takes about 2 weeks for it to kick on. And you CAN collect if you were fired, as long as it wasn't for diciplinary reasons. My suggestion is to say lack of work. Anyhow, thats my 2 cents. If you want some leads, PM me. I just got like 3 interviews in a week, so maybe I can give some pointers.

later
J
