Nice. Got any pics of the manifolds? Also, kind of hard to tell, but I assume you're still running the original shock towers? I've been debating on doing a turbo or supercharger on my '68.

Thanks. Here is my original build thread. Turboforums I am using Hedman shorty's #88400 facing forward with a 2.5" crossover pipe. Both headers merge into a 3 inch pipe right before the turbo inlet. I chose turbo over a supercharger for the low end torque. I get max boost by 3,000 rpms. My dyno sheet is in a link in my previous post. My turbo makes 400tq by 3,000 rpms. I can see a twin screw doing that, but not a centrifugal. I need that low end for my heavy car.

Those CNC Power heads are kind of spendy are they really that impressively ported? Were they welded and ported or just ported, port shape? were the push rod journals cut and sleeved? [ 2014-02-08, 03:14 PM: Message edited by: Zed Stang ]

I got them 8-9 years ago. They were like $675. They have gone up alot. The owner told me they flowed like the Performer heads. No welding or anything. They have cnc'd ports. Stainless 1.90/1.60 valves, bronze guides, .550 springs. Supposed to flow 217/178 @ .500 lift.

Wow that's pretty good I picked up two sets of virgin E7's to experiment with and follow these pages http://www.diyporting.com/E7p2.html This guy opened them up so much he cut into the push rod guides. I figured there had to be numbers and flow in them. [ 2014-02-08, 03:39 PM: Message edited by: Zed Stang ]

Nice. Amazing the stock block survived. Do you have the new motor running?

No, I wish, looking for a tranny right now for it, just got a deal on a new set of Jesel shaft mount rockers which saved me $600, just need keep finding deals like that so I can finish it.
