b cam with 1/7's with fresh gt40 irons (stock springs.. .520 lift???) on a stock bottom end...?
WOULD IT WORK?

He's talking about lift. It will be near .520 lift with the 1.7's factored in. It will work. Check your P to V clearance if you have any concerns.

the difference in lift between a 1.6 and a 1.7 would be .015 so the B cam being .480 lift would then be actually a .495 lift...correct me if im wrong.

The lift will be .510
