Looks like Jeff's car. Glad to see he got it runnin. His car is running a Vortech S-trim no Aftercooler, 306, Alum. Heads, Downs shortbox, 3.73, 42lb injectors, etc, etc. The car runs like a monster, and destroys T-5's at will I have seen that car go 1.5 60ft with no suspension. And on the street he rolls with 18's in the front and 20's in the rear. One nice car![ October 22, 2001: Message edited by: BLWN99SNK ]

Yes it is his car. 90GT is his brother Scott. Yeah his 60ft's are probably down, cause of the auto. He needs to go with a trans-brake, and that thing would be a monster off the line!

Yeah, I just fired up the software for the first time in over a year. The spark table still makes the program crash, but it has all the major controls needed to tune, but not as many as the EEC-TUNER. If Matt Happy was a better bussiness man, I'm sure the product would have been more popular. It came out around the same time of the EEC tuner (late 98/early 99 if I remember right). Speed Brain had much more pizzas and hype. Even 2 years ago few knew of the EEC-TUNER. Look at how the tables have switched in almost 4 years.
-Sawson ps- regarding your 'poll' on the corral... I'm just waiting for one of those fools to tell you to get AFR's and a custom cam.... good for 117+ mph they claim! LOL

Yeah I would agree. What version are you using of the Speedbrain Software. Mine never crashes. My EEC-tuner is great as it has many things to change compared to the EEC-TUNER.. I just got it back from the Data Log upgrade and haven't even tried it.. I may never. Its a Backup incase the Speedbrain ever dies on me. Gotta always be ready.
----------- This is for Scott.. Heres a simple math to show Jeff. Injector Size = HP * BSFC ------------ 8 Hes running about 525 to the Rear or so. With 42 lb injectors.. Thats about 600 HP at Flywheel..
600 * .5 ------------- 8 This comes out to 37 lb injectors.. And thats 100% DC. Typically if you wanted to run no more than 80% DC should be 600 * .5 ------------ 8 * .8 = 46 lb injectors would be needed. Now you can see why I melted #7 and #8 down.. The Data log shows 100% dc for the last 500 rpm up to 6000 rpm. Not good. Now if hes running race gas i'm not quite sure how that effects the ratio. It must be helping alot.. Dave

i thing the decision has been made, go with a new clutch at the moment, and ill do the seals on the t5, and throw it in. I called d and d and he said the only diference between the tko and the 3550 is the shafts supposedly the tko hold 50 more ft lbs all internals are the same. So ill run the t5 until it breaks and go with the 3550 afterwords. That way i wont have to replace a clutch again.
